Welcoming another new destination to its route network, Budapest Airport has celebrated the inaugural flight of Wizz Air’s three times weekly service to Doncaster Sheffield. Having already launched new routes to Stavanger, Athens and Basel during the summer season, the home-based carrier’s latest link to the large market town in Yorkshire, northern UK, becomes Wizz Air’s 66th non-stop destination from Budapest.
Budapest Airport has also added its 14th new route of 2018 by welcoming Ryanair’s twice-weekly operation to Amman. Making its re-appearance on the Hungarian gateway’s route network, the link to the Jordanian capital will also introduce a connection to Aqaba on the Red Sea coast – a highly-desired destination.
