The Australian chains have a cult-like following thanks to their affordable food items that don't compromise on quality.  

ALDI Unpacked recently shared with FEMAIL the products that have risen to fame among ALDI shoppers and have customers coming back for more.

Bakers Life 85% Lower Carb Higher Protein Bread

This $4.99 bread has received rave reviews ever since it launched due to the fact that it has a high protein content and a five star health rating.

It also has high quantities of fibre in comparison with its relatively small amount of carbohydrates.

According to dietitian Lyndi Cohen one of the main reasons why the bread is so good is because it is so low in carbs:

'If you're managing your weight or want a filling or lower carb option, then this is an interesting and great product,' she previously told Daily Mail Australia.

'Normal white bread is often made up mostly of refined flour, however this option is made using seeds and wholegrains providing healthy fats, protein and fibre.'

With vegans and those who are lactose intolerant in mind, the people at ALDI have decided to stock a dairy free 'nice' cream.

The Coconut Frozen Dessert comes in two flavours: Salted Caramel and Vanilla.

The dessert has been very popular since it was introduced, particularly thanks to the fact that it can be difficult for people to find dairy free ice cream at the grocery store.

The Almond Spekulatius are a traditional European treat and are a spiced cookie that have been sprinkled with almonds.

Vegans will be happy to know that this is another treat they can put in their shopping cart. 

They cost $2.99 a pack and often sell out due to high demand.

Urban Eats Turkish Style Gozleme

Australians love gozleme which is why the gozleme in ALDI's frozen section regularly flies out the door.

According to ALDI Unpacked, fans of the product have recommended a variety of ways to enjoy it. 

'Tips from fans include cooking in a sandwich press, squeezing a dash of lemon juice over the top and pairing with a dollop of natural yogurt,' it states on the website.

Oh So Natural Peanut Butter

The Oh So Natural Peanut Butter from ALDI is made from 100 per cent peanuts and contains no additives.

Customers have the option between smooth and crunchy and it only costs $2.99 a jar.  

The jar has a five star health rating and in one tablespoon customers will receive four grams of natural protein and a hit of niacin, vitamin E, magnesium, and phosphorus.

It's proven to be popular due to its low price tag as well as its health benefits.

Simply Vegetarian Chickpea, Sweet Potato & Quinoa Bites

ALDI also offers a quick and nutritious meal option for those who don't have much time on their hands with their Chickpea, Sweet Potato and Quinoa Bites.

'Whether you've been searching the supermarket aisles for a meat free alternative, or simply love sweet potato, our customers can't seem to get enough of these protein-packed bites,' it reads on ALDI Unpacked.

They suggest eating them with flat bread, adding it to spaghetti or simply eating them on their own.

Bon Appetit Chocolate Chip Brioche Loaf

ALDI representatives have said their Chocolate Chip Brioche Loaf has been a long-time favourite in their baked goods range.

It's particularly delicious because it has been baked to an authentic French recipe. 

Although it's delicious on its own they also recommend using it to make French toast.

Specially Selected Wood-fired Pizza

This wood-fired pizza is made in the Friuli region of Italy and it won Product of the Year in 2017.

The topping is sprinkled with beetroot, crumbs of goat's cheese, mozzarella, red onion, garlic sauce, marinated tomatoes and fresh rocket.

'As it never fails to impress, you can serve this up next time you have guests over for dinner,' ALDI representatives said.

Dairy Dream Greek Style Fruit Yogurt

The Dairy Dream Greek Style Fruit Yoghurt comes in a variety of flavours such as Citrus Cheesecake, Passionfruit and Mango and Peach.

Although it is packed with flavour it has no added sugar.

'OMG this is – quite seriously – the best yoghurt I've ever tasted. All of the flavours are just fantastic,' ALDI Mum said in a review.

'It's thick, creamy without being gluggy, sweet but not sickly, and is decadent without the high price point. Plus, it's made in Victoria (love Aldi's commitment to supporting Aussie farmers and manufacturers).'

Urban Eats Greek Style Spanakopita

This Greek delicacy is made with flaky filo pastry filled with spinach and feta cheese and is a regular in shoppers' grocery carts.  

The pastries bake up to be crisp, flaky, and golden brown and customers have said the pastry 'melts in your mouth'.

'Try dipping into tzatziki for a flavour explosion. You won't regret treating yourself to this traditional style pastry,' ALDI Unpacked reads.

Monarc Obsession Ice Cream

Many people have described this ice cream range as decadent and it comes in a variety of flavours.

These include Triple Choc, which is milk and dark chocolate flavoured ice cream with chocolate flavoured sauce with milk and white chocolate curls and the White Chocolate Passionfruit, which has white chocolate ice cream with a passionfruit sauce, topped with white chocolate curls.

There is also Vanilla Caramel, which is vanilla and caramel ice cream with a caramel sauce, topped with caramel flavoured candy pieces.

Bavarian Pretzel

'Our pretzels are ready to bake straight from the pack - and ready for you to consume anyway you wish,' it reads on ALDI Unpacked.

'We love how this fan has paired their ALDI pretzel with brie and truffles. Serve warm straight from the oven for a traditional Bavarian taste.'

The pretzels are only a seasonal item but there have been calls online for the chain to stock them all year round.
