Herald News: What person, living or dead, do you most admire and why?

Aidan Magnuson: I most admire my deceased vavo, because she always was a beacon of light incomparable to anyone else.

HN: Who is your favorite professional athlete and why?

AM: Lionel Messi, because he plays the game of soccer the right way, both offensively and defensively, and he has always overcome his height disadvantage.

HN: What other sports do you play?

AM: Basketball and track.

HN: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

AM: Holding an engineering job close to home.

HN: Do you have any superstitions you use when playing your sport?

AM: I believe putting forth 100 percent effort for the whole match will always put the team at better odds.

HN: If you could go back in time and change anything, what would it be?

AM: I would have played track throughout all of high school rather than starting last year.

HN: What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned from playing sports?

AM: Never quit no matter the current situation.

HN: What is your favorite food?

AM: Tacos.

AM: Drake.
