Attakathi Dinesh and Adithi Menon's Kalavani Maapilai is all set to release on Diwali day. Raja Pushpa Pictures, the production house which produced many super hits including Nadodi Mannan and Kattaboman is bankrolling the film.

The film also has Anandaraj, Devayani, Munishkanth, Rajendran, Renuka, and Manobla in important roles. Saravanan Abhimanyu has cranked the camera for Kalavani Maapilai and Ragunandhan is scoring the music.

The producers say that the film is a family entertainer which is filled with a lot of comic sequences.
