Tech Mahindra signs pact with Hyderabad varsity

:(IT) services firm Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the (bio-incubator nurturing entrepreneurship for scaling technologies).

The MoU would bring in high-motivation among young entrepreneurs and better translational outcome through and to the life science arena, a press release quoted the Vice-Chancellor of the university as saying.

The life science arena includes biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and allied areas, the release said.

Under the pact, would help in providing all the for the start-ups incubating in the varsity, thereby providing opportunity for joint go-to-market with the young entrepreneurs, it added.

"We have 65 faculty members, 400 PhD scholars and postgraduate doctors and 350 masters students engaged in teaching, research and extension activities in divergent areas of life sciences," the release quoted of UoH-BioNEST P Reddanna as saying.
