SC Asks Centre to Submit Rafale Pricing Details, Cost of Jets in ‘Sealed Cover’ Within 10 Days
The Supreme Court again made clear that it doesn't want technical details pertaining to the Rafale deal and fixed November 14 as the date of next hearing.
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked the Centre to submit pricing details and the cost of Rafale jets in a sealed envelope in 10 days.
The court also asked the government to put in an affidavit details of what aspects of the French defence deal it can’t share even with the court and include other confidential details in a “sealed” cover.
The court has asked the government to provide details which can be put in public domain to the petitioners. It again made clear that it doesn't want technical details pertaining to the Rafale deal and fixed November 14 as the date of next hearing.
