Cape Town - Former Proteas captain Graeme Smith has announced his engagement to Romy Lanfranchi.
The 37-year-old confirmed the news via his Instagram account on Wednesday.
Smith, who was previously married Morgan Deane and has two children with the Irish pop star, also has a child with Lanfranchi.
Smith and Lanfranchi welcomed a baby boy into the world in December 2016, while Lanfranchi has two sons from her previous marriage with her late husband.
Lanfranchi and her late husband, Michel, were married for eight years before the businessman died tragically of a brain haemorrhage in August 2013.
Smith played 117 Tests, 197 ODIs and 33 T20I for South Africa before retiring in March 2014.
Smith posted a picture of himself with Lanfranchi, who was showing off her engagement ring, with the caption "About last night".
