Man 'driving car with fake registration plates while on bail' attempts to evade police - before officers kick through his window in dramatic pursuit

This is the dramatic moment a man on bail allegedly driving with fake registration plates attempts to evade a patrol car before police officers chase him on foot.
Queensland Police released footage showing the 4WD caught between two cars at an intersection on Margaret Street in Toowoomba on Tuesday as police close in.
The 26-year-old driver managed to escape in the Mazda Tribute, allegedly slamming into a number of cars at speed, but was found and arrested on Wednesday.

Footage of the pursuit, caught on a citizen's dash cam, shows officers racing toward the four-wheel-drive car before it reverses and smashes into the car directly behind.
One officer is seen trying to kick the window in as another attempts to open the door before they continue to chase the car on foot.
A police body camera also shows the pursuit from a closer angle.
Police allege the car damaged a number of vehicles as it took off at high speed.

Investigations by Toowoomba Detectives resulted in police being able to locate and arrest the 26-year-old man.
He has since been charged with multiple offences including dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, evading police, wilful damage, breaching bail and drug related offences.
The man is due to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 31.
