Chennai Metro Rail celebrating Vigilance Awareness Week with competitions for its staff

CHENNAI: Several competitions and workshops mark the celebration of Vigilance Awareness Week in Chennai Metro Rail Limited. The week is observed between October 29 and November 3.
The theme for this year is ‘Eradicate Corruption - Build A New India.’
The celebrations began with a visit by Mohan Pyare, additional chief secretary/ state vigilance commissioner, who was part of event organised by CMRL to take an integrity pledge. Pankaj Kumar Bansal, managing director, CMRL, directors, CGMs, GMs and other staff members of CMRL took part in the event.
Events like quiz and essay writing competitions, vigilance workshop and debates have been planned for metro rail staff. A debate competition will also be conducted in a school on November 3.
