The first footage from Season 6 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine is officially here. NOICE! Well, we think it is and Jake (Andy Samberg) seems pretty psyched, but there might be some sour feelings amongst the rest of the precinct.
The first (and sadly very brief) teaser trailer for Season 6 picks up at the party where Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) was about to announce whether he'd gotten his big promotion. Jake shows up to bring out the sick moves, asking if he missed anything big. By the looks on everyone else's faces, it would appear that Holt didn't get the job -- or still hasn't told anyone either way and Jake is delaying the cliffhanger resolve even more. We know how you feel, guys.

This is the first season Brooklyn Nine-Nine will spend on NBC after Fox canceled the comedy this spring. The series will premiere this winter, according to the teaser, which could mean January or even later. But the teaser has definitely done its job and has us on the edge of our seats. Aside from Holt's promotion news, we are also anxious to see how Chelsea Peretti will leave the show this season. How will the precinct be the same without Gina's bomb quips?
Guess we'll find out when Brooklyn Nine-Nine premieres this winter on NBC.
