German manufacturer, Mercedes Benz announced the arrival of its updated C300 Cabriolet. Priced at Rs 65.25 lakhs (ex-showroom) India, Mercedes Benz C300 Cabriolet gets a few exterior design tweaks alongside new features and a BSVI engine.
In comparison to its predecessor, the 2019 Mercedes C300 Cabriolet on the outside gets a redesigned front bumper, multi-beam LED headlights, a new set of 17 inch-alloy wheels and LED tail lights. As for the interior, it boosts of a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has been thrown into the package with smartphone integration. The steering wheel for that matter now features dual touchpad controls for better convenience. An optional fitment, the customer also has a choice of brown, open-pore walnut wood trim.
That aside, the most significant which has been made to this model is its engine. The C300 Cabriolet has a BS-VI complaint petrol engine on offer. This engine produces 13 bhp more than the previous one. As per the specification, Mercedes C300 Cabriolet gets 2.0 litre, four-cylinder petrol engine under the skin that is good for producing 258 bhp of maximum power output with 370 Nm of torque. Powering its wheels is a 9-speed automatic transmission on-board. Going purely on performance, this convertible can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds which is in fact 0.2 seconds faster than the outgoing one. It has a top speed of 250 kmph.
The new Mercedes C-Class Cabriolet gets two new paint shades namely Mojave Silver and Selenite Grey while Designo Selenite Grey Magno comes into the picture as a special paint job.
