With under a week to go before The Brothers of Destruction face D-Generation X duo of Triple H and Shawn Michaels at the WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, there seemed to be a mismatch on Monday’s WWE Raw. As Triple H stared down at The Undertaker & Kane on his own, clearly a man short, Shawn Michaels hit the ring just in time and nailed The Deadman with a Sweet Chin Music. Their celebrations, however, were shortlived as they witnessed The Phenom rise moments later. Is that a sign of things to come come Friday at WWE Crown Jewel?

Looking to get inside the head of Kane and The Undertaker, four days before the show, Triple H, sans Michaels, emerged atop the ramp which drew Kane out of the ring. This allowed HBK to strike from behind and ambushing Undertaker with Sweet Chin Music. DX’s triumph over the brothers was short-lived, however: They were happily making their way back up the ramp when The Phenom sat bolt upright, as he does, and stopped their celebration in its tracks.

At the start of the show, Brown Strowman and Brock Lesnar came face-to-face with the WWE Universal Title up for grabs. The talk was replaced by some action in the right as The Beast Incarnate got the better of The Monster Among Men in a brief but titanic exchange that placed the momentum squarely at Lesnar’s back.

Caught in the middle of all this was Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin who tried his best to separate The Monster and The Beast. But ended up being slammed for three consecutive Running Powerslams from Strowman. His moment of triumph was spoiled, however, as Lesnar waited for his adversary to finish with Corbin before he pounced with a massive F-5 that was enough to leave The Gift of Destruction on the mat.
