While the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen has managed to top the charts, followed by Shenzhen in China and Novi Sad in Serbia, places like Mexico City, Seattle, and Zadar in Croatia have also managed to find a place on the list of Lonely Planet’s top 10 cities to visit in 2019. That being said, it is not surprising that it has topped the list of Lonely Planet’s top 10 cities to visit in 2019. The capital city of Denmark has always been on the radar of an intrepid explorer, thanks to its Tivoli Gardens, Amager Bakke, Little Mermaid statue, Nyhavn Harbour among others.
2. Shenzhen, China
The ‘Silicon Valley of China’, Shenzhen is known for pleasing its tourists with impressive skyscrapers and great retail therapy as it houses huge malls and local markets where you can score some great fashion accessories and apparels.
3. Novi Sad, Serbia

7. Dakar, Senegal
The eye-catching beauty of the pink-hued waters of Lake Retba, its beautiful beaches and the infamous ‘House of Slaves’, Senegal’s capital city stand on the seventh position on the list of top 10 must-visit cities of 2019.
8. Seattle, USA
Seattle, which boasts one of the most splendid skylines in the world, is also known for its delicious seafood at Pike Place Market as well as for its famous Museum of Pop Culture. The city which offers a plethora of scenic eye-treats ranks eight on the list of Lonely Planet’s top 10 must-visit cities of 2019.
9. Zadar, Croatia
Zadar remains a witness to its war-ridden past, ancient Roman ruins which now offers some really innovative museums and its trattoria-style cafes and restaurants.
10. Meknes, Morocco
Meknes in northern Morocco is one of the four Imperial cities in the country which has plenty of history to offer. It stands on the tenth position on Lonely Planet’s list of top 10 must-visit cities of 2019.
