17-year-old girl leaves home for tuition, goes missing

GURUGRAM: A man approached police on Sunday, alleging that his 17-year-old daughter had been abducted.
He filed a police complaint after his daughter did not return home from her coaching centre. An FIR has been registered against unknown persons on charge of kidnapping at Sector 14 police station.
According to the complaint filed by the Bhondsi resident, his daughter left home around 8am on Sunday to go to her coaching centre in Sector 14. Around 11am, the complainant found out that she was not present at her coaching centre.
“After I found this out, I reached the coaching centre where I was told that she had never reached there on Sunday,” the complainant told police. An FIR was registered against unknown accused under section 365 (kidnap) of IPC at Sector 14 police station.
“At the moment, we are searching for the girl. We hope to get more clarity anytime soon,” said ASI Joginder Singh, the investigating officer.
