MUMBAI:
JetPrivilege, the loyalty and rewards programme jointly owned by
Jet Airways and
Etihad Airways has launched the ‘Hotel Stay Redemptions’ that enables members to redeem their miles for
hotel bookings.
Etihad owns 24% of Jet and 50.1% in Jet Privilege. Jet Airways is in talks with potential buyers to sell its stake in the business.
While choosing to redeem their JPMiles for hotel stays, members have the flexibility to pay either by redeeming their JPMiles completely or by paying part in JPMiles and part in cash, said a statement.
“The online Hotel booking platform in the stay category has been one of our strongest programme platforms and the launch of ‘Hotels Redemption’ was a natural progression aimed at delivering a seamless, end to end travel experience to our members,” said Manish Dureja, managing director JetPrivilege.
For managing the new hotels redemption platform, JetPrivilege has partnered with RocketMiles, an online travel agency.
