FALL RIVER — Due to weather that has delayed construction, the North Eastern Avenue and New Boston Road intersection closure has been pushed back from Nov. 1-2 to Nov. 5-6, according to Paul Ferland, city deputy administrator of utilities.

This will affect all southbound traffic on North Eastern Avenue and all traffic from there turning west onto New Boston Road, he said. It will also affect all traffic heading east on New Boston Road because they will not be able to access North Eastern Avenue, Ferland said in a press release.

Detour routes will be in place and posted.
