Southern Naval Command ties up with PSG college for PG

The has entered into a tie-up with coimbatore-based to enable officers to pursue research and post-graduate programmes every year at the institution.

A memorandum of understanding to this effect was signed between the two entities Monday, besides to facilitate exchange of expertise, development of training infrastructure, joint research & development projects and Transfer of technology (ToT).

Every year, four seats would be allocated for Naval personnel and there would be no limit on seats for research programmes, a statement from defence wing said.

The agreement was signed by Naval Institute of Aeronautical Training (NIAT) Yogesh Chandra Pandey, on behalf of the Navy, and by Principal R Rudramurthy.

The collaboration also includes faculty assistance in product and process modification, modernization, it said.
