7 injured after scaffolding collapses at construction site in Thane

THANE: Seven construction workers suffered severe injuries after the bamboo scaffolding, built at an under-construction building at the Runwal Garden City complex in Balkum area, Thane, collapsed on Monday morning.
Eye-witnesss said that the workers were standing on the scaffolding and construcution work was under process when the bamboo supporter broke and brought the entire scaffolding down.
No fatalities reported were reported till now, rescue officials said, adding that three workers are in a critical condition.
Four of the injured workers were rushed to the state-run Civil hospital in Thane and the other three critically injured were admitted in a private hospital in Kolshet, near the construction site.
