A Trinamool Congress leader was shot at and critically injured in Titagarh on Monday. The victim, identified as Satish Mishra, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kolkata. His condition is reportedly critical, sources said. Two persons have been arrested, an official from Titagarh police station said.

“We have arrested Bhola Sardar and Kala Munna. We are trying to trace others involved. Prima facie we suspect the attack may be a result of political rivalry,” he said.
