The remarks by the BJP national president, Amit Shah, in Kerala lay the path for a dangerous trend (“BJP will pull down LDF govt.: Shah”, October 28). He is the president of a national ruling party which is duty bound to promote and help to execute the orders of the Supreme Court. The BJP came to power on the promise of development and a corruption-free and disciplined government. It appears to have failed on all the three promises and is instead facilitating the destruction of all constitutional bodies and jeopardising communal harmony.
