Asus Zenfone 6 series has been spotted through prototype images, and reported by GizmoChina. These have revealed three different designs, one of which comes with an in-display camera, as well as a triple rear camera unit. While the Taiwanese company had launched the Zenfone 5 series at MWC 2018, the plans with respect to this line of phones remains unknown.

As per the leaked images, the Zenfone 6 prototypes appear to carry on from where the Zenfone 5 series had left off. For instance, one of the images shows the Zenfone 6 prototype with the in-display camera placed by the side of Zenfone 5Z.

The designs of the two phones differ by the thinner bezels on the prototype device, as well as the in-display camera, which creates a hole in the top-left corner of the display. Also, one can spot a type-C USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as speaker grille on the bottom right.

Another prototype design of Zenfone 6 shows the presence of the in-display camera at the top-right corner, besides the same full screen display look. The prototypes indicate that the Zenfone 6 will not feature notched displays. Only one of the prototype images showed a notch, where the Asus phone in question shows a waterdrop notch design.

HOT DEALS

On the back, a metallic finish is visible over one of the Zenfone 6 prototypes, each of which appear to have metal casings. While one of these comes with a triple rear camera configuration, which is vertically stacked, the other features dual rear cameras, that are placed at the centre. Both phones, though, showcase a fingerprint scanner at the back.
