Hockey World Cup 2018: Bhubaneswar walls exhibit murals with the mascot ‘Olly’

Ahead of the Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has started working on murals or wall paintings on the theme of the sport, which is going to be held here from November 28. They are painting the walls with the mascot Olly (Olive Ridley Turtle). The major stretches were flyovers from Vani Vihar to Jaydev Vihar, Airport to Jaydev Vihar, Raj Bhawan (governor’s residence) to Fire Station via Delta Square and Siripur Square to Fire Station Square. The themes of various artists will, however, vary with the central theme revolving around hockey and Odisha’s contribution to the game.
