Minor reunited with parents after 90 days

MOHALI: Khushi, the five-year-old girl who went missing on July 24 from Patiala, was reunited with her parents in Panchkula by the anti-human trafficking unit (AHTU) of the Haryana Police crime branch after 90 days.
A spokesman of the police department said a team of anti-human trafficking unit after completing required formalities handed over the girl to her parents at Bal Sadan, Sector 12 A, Panchkula. The girl was first found at the Ambala railway station on July 25.
Later, according to the process, she was sent to Bal Sadan, Panchkula.
Explaining the investigation process, the spokesperson said that a team of anti-human trafficking unit comprising sub-inspector Mukesh Rani, assistant sub-inspector Rajesh Kumar, head constable Karamchand and woman constable Kavita had visited Aadhaar office in Sector 1 to get some leads about the missing girl.
The team finally visited the main office in Sector 17, Chandigarh and got the address of missing girl that was traced to Patiala.
The team of anti-human trafficking unit immediately contacted police control room, Patiala, and shared photo of the girl on WhatsApp.
It was informed by the police official that a missing complaint was filed at Anaj Mandi police station, Patiala. The girl was then reunited with her parents.
