34-year-old gets hurt in car crash

Representative image MOHALI: A 34-year-old woman got injured after being hit by a vehicle on Friday. The incident took place when she was on her way to Ambala. When the victim reached near Lalru, an unidentified vehicle hit her car, following which she crashed into a truck infront of her vehicle.
According to police, the victim has been identified as Sukhvir Kaur (34) of Mohali, Phase I. She is working in a private company in Chandigarh.
The victim in her complaint told cops that she was going to Ambala for some work.
After recording her statement, the police have registered a case against a unidentified vehicle driver under various section of rash driving and driving with negligence of the Indian Penal Code at Lalru police station.
"The case has been registered and we are investigating the matter," said the investigation officer of the case.
