Indore: With elections approaching fast, it’s time for first voters to study previous records, manifestos and possible future with each party. Looking out for aggregate interest of the community, youngsters feel it is important to develop while supporting every class, caste, creed and sector equally.
From issues like petrol prices, tax rate, road developments to economic growth, every factor will play an essential role in casting of votes. As first time voters, youngsters understand their responsibility and hope to make the right choice for their country. Here are some interesting views shared by first time voters about possible considerations for their vote.
Balanced development considering everyone
We want our country to grow in every possible way, but on realistic terms, we have to compromise a little on some grounds considering budget, priorities and aggregate development constraints. I would give my vote to someone, who looks at need of every class, caste and gender. We need a balanced development. Sadly, based on my analysis till now, I do not see anyone who is considering development of people. It is mostly about their personal inclinations and not people on the whole.”

Competence and Credibility of Candidate
I am studying to become a lawyer, so my judgement depends on credibility and competence of the competing parties. I would vote for the candidate rather than the political party. It is important to consider the candidate on all grounds on competence including education, experience, past record, future plans and credibility.

Young, educated and powered with morals
In Indian politics, there is a dearth of young, educated and more importantly good human beings. Instead of choosing ‘NOTA’, I would choose a candidate, who contends independently without big party political influence. I feel we need an independent leader, who has good morals and does not stand on pillars of hypocrisy. We need a revolution in the country to curb poverty, corruption and crime.

Solve everyday problems!Casting vote and deciding the leader of our country is a big responsibility. I would cast my vote for the candidate whose manifesto promises can solve the problems we face day to day. I mean every problem including falling rupee, increasing fuel prices, crime rate, unemployment, safety and peaceful livelihood. My vote will not be on the basis of religion or caste. I will be considering development of my city and country.
