Show cause notice (SCN) was issued to an office superintendent (OS) for not providing information to the collector about the stay granted on construction and renovation in Gayakotha due to which construction work at Gayakotha was held up. According to sources the government has sanctioned a fund of Rs 22 crore for new constructions and renovation.
According to details available Shashikumar Meena filed a petition in the court of JMFC 5 Natasha Sheikh for granting a stay on construction work being done by Ujjain Municipal Corporation. The court had ordered the collector to appear in the court on October 11, on behalf of state government to present the facts supporting the side of the government, but the office superintendent (OS) Sushil Tilwar did not provide information about the court’s order in time, due to which the government could not present the facts supporting its side before the court.
The OS also delayed the presentation of the copy of the case before collector and presented it on October 22. Collector Manish Singh issued show cause notice under MP Civil Service (conduct) rules 1965 to OS Tilwar and asked him to reply within three days. The collector also suspended assistant grade 2 Pramod Rathore and grade 3 clerk Maheshgiri Goswami.
