TIRUCHULI
Two 19-year-old college students were killed when the bike they were riding was hit by a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus near here on Friday.
According to police, K. Poovizhi Madeswaran and C. Karthik, both final year undergraduate students of Devanga Arts College in Aruppukkottai, were going from Aruppukkottai to Anaikulam on a bike when the bus proceeding from Tiruchuli to Aruppukkottai hit the vehicle. Both were killed on the spot, the police said.
Tiruchuli police registered a case and arrested bus driver A. Loganathan.
