She's the Gold Coast-based personal trainer and Instagram star who is known for her washboard abs.
And while Emily Skye has spent years sculpting her enviable frame, she says it's a smart approach to diet and fitness that's helped her last the distance.
Emily told Honey Coach that while people like to think there's a magic pill or a quick fix that will give them instant health, it's actually a decision and commitment 'to do the work' that makes the difference.

The PT offered these words of advice to those starting out
The personal trainer said she believes in the benefit of properly structured nutrition and advises those starting out to 'find meals they enjoy that are healthy'.
'I love getting a piece of salmon, some watercress which is a really nutritious green, and then getting olive oil and drizzling it on top, with tomatoes and maybe some nuts in there as well,' she told the publication.
As well as nutrition advice, Emily also shared other suggestions for those at the beginning of their health journey:
'When people come to me and say "I want to get fitter right now and what can I do to start?" I say research as much as you can - you've got to learn yourself about healthy food and exercise so you are doing the right techniques.'

The fitness professional, who has more than 14 million women signed up to her online program, also debunked the myth that cardio is key to weight loss.
'It's not the case,' she said. 'Yes at the time you're doing it you're burning fat, but as soon as you stop [cardio] within an hour you go back to normal metabolism for fat burning.'
According to Emily, lifting weights comes with the benefit of producing lean muscle and it creates a greater metabolic demand post-exercise.
This means the body will continue to burn fat long after you've completed your weightlifting routine.

The fitness star gave birth to her daughter Mia (pictured) nine months ago and said she has been criticised online for 'bouncing back' too quickly
Emily has previously spoken out about criticism she has received online about her postpartum body.
Taking to Instagram, the fitness enthusiast said she had been bombarded with negative remarks since debuting her body.
'I have been getting a fair few comments from women saying that I got back into shape too fast after giving birth to Mia,' she said.
'It's not the case, it's been seven-and-a-half months and while I'm happy with myself, I am nowhere near as fit, strong or lean as I used to be and I didn't "bounce back".

'Being a fitness professional doesn't automatically make it easier than others to get back in shape,' Emily said
'Being a fitness professional doesn't automatically make it easier than others to get back in shape - yes I know how to do it but it still takes hard consistent work.
'I just want you to know that it does take a while for most people,' she added.
Even though I'd been exercising for about a decade before falling pregnant it has still been tough for me to get my fitness back. I'm getting stronger all the time though.'
