FALL RIVER – People Incorporated has announced the appointment of two new employees to leadership positions within the agency. Beth Pelletier will fill the role of vice president of human resources, and Melissa St. Pierre will serve as the director of community partnerships.

Pelletier has more than 20 years of experience in the human resources field, most recently serving as an assistant director in the nonprofit sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Rhode Island, a certificate in human resource management from Bryant College, and is PHR certified. In her role, Pelletier will work on a number of initiatives, including streamlining the agency’s orientation process and establishing a mentoring program for new hires.

St. Pierre received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Westfield State University. She has over 17 years of experience in the human services field, ranging from residential services to administration. Her passion is to drive policy and practices that improve the lives of youth at risk through programming that targets educational achievement and social-emotional well-being. St. Pierre will oversee the Community Engagement Center at the Fall River Public Schools’ Resiliency Preparatory Academy, along with People Incorporated’s affiliates, including the SMILES mentoring program and the Diabetes Association, Inc.
