‘Judgment a punishment for traitors’

Coimbatore: Chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said the Madras high court has shattered the intention of our enemies to obstruct the growth of AIADMK and remove our government by upholding the speaker’s decision to disqualify 18 MLAs.
Addressing party cadres at Singanallur in the city on Friday evening, the chief minister said a few conspirators joined hands with our arch-rival DMK to remove our government and split our party but the sole of Amma (Jayalalithaa) stood by us and protected our party and government. “No one can stop our growth or the functioning of our government. We will grow stronger,” he said.

Palaniswami said the judgment was a punishment for traitors who tried to split the party and dissolve the government.


“We have to work together to strengthen our party and will do lot of good things for the people of the state. With blessings from our leaders MGR and Amma, our party will grow stronger,” said Palaniswami.


He said the state government would support to make Coimbatore as one of the best cities in the state and would take necessary steps to implement all the schemes.


Later, the chief minister addressed among party cadres at Ramanathapuram Junction and attended a marriage reception function at Eachanari.
