Indore: Officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) foiled an attempt of smuggling and seized 6 kg gold bars worth Rs 1.94 crore from four 4 passengers at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar airport on Wednesday morning. The DRI also detained all the accused. This is the first instance in the poll-bound state. According to information, the DRI officials detained 4 passengers including 3 female in arrival lounge of the airport. They cam from Mumbai. DRI officials searched them and found 6 kg gold bars. Later all for passengers were detained. They will be produced in the court on Thursday.
