Acer Aspire 5s is the company’s first notebook with Intel’s Whiskey Lake processors.

Acer India has launched Aspire 5s and Swift 3 notebooks in India. The Swift 5s is the company’s first laptop in India to feature Intel’s Whiskey Lake processors. It has been priced at Rs 40,999. The Taiwanese company is also bringing its Swift 3 notebook to India, which starts at Rs 64,999. Both new notebooks are available to purchase in the country through Acer exclusive stores, leading electronic retail stores and multi-brand outlets.

The Aspire 5s features a 15.6-inch full HD display with ultra slim bezels. The notebook has a sleek aluminium body and can be laid at 180-degree. It is powered by Intel Whiskey Lake 8th generation Core i3 and i5 processors, coupled with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics and Intel Optane memory to provide a smooth functioning of complex tasks.

Acer Aspire 5s has the proprietary TrueHarmony technology and optimized Dolby Audio to deliver an enhanced audio experience. The laptop comes with Precision Touchpad for smooth navigation and includes 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac under its connectivity suite.

Then there is the Acer Swift 3. It can be purchased in either 14-inch or 15.6-inch display variant. The full HD display on the Acer Swift 3 has slim bezels and offer 178-degree viewing angle. The notebook is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core i5 8130U/8250U processors paired with up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage.

Acer Swift 3 will be available in two variants: one with a 14-inch screen size and the other with a 15.6-inch panel.

Similar to the Aspire 5s, the new Swift 3 comes with Intel Optane memory, in-house TrueHarmony technology and Colour Intelligence. The 15.6-inch model gets NVIDIA GeForce MX150/MX130x graphics card as well. Both the models come with 2×2 MIMO 802.11ac connectivity support. They run on Windows 10 operating system.
