Water pipeline bursts at Marine Drive in Mumbai

MUMBAI: A water pipeline burst at Marine Drive on Thursday, within a week of its repair. Last week, the same water pipeline burst created water logging on a portion of Marine Drive stretch.
The BMC officials stated that they will excavate the promenade again on Thursday night to fix the problem.
The BMC had repaired the pipeline after excavating the promenade on October 18. They relayed the promenade and they were suppose to open the stretch to pedestrian, but changed the plan after the pipeline burst again on early Thursday. BMC needs to excavate the promenade again to repair the pipeline. Officials stated that the burst has not created any water problem in the area.
