Both Danish Sait and sister Kubbra lead busy lives. So, any opportunity to spend some time together is welcomed with open arms. Like the trip to Mangaluru which saw the siblings meet in the coastal town, the planning of which happened over a phone call. “I was talking to Kubbra the previous night and she happened to share that she would be shooting for a food show in Mangaluru. And I said, ‘Hey guess what! I’m going to be there too because I’m hosting a corporate event.’ Just like that, everything fell in place and we caught up in Mangaluru the next morning,” shares Danish, who was in the coastal city over the weekend.
The actor, funnyman and host has many pleasant memories of the place since childhood, but his biggest connect with the place is the food. “After work, Kubbra and I went to a local hotspot and tucked into some delicious red snappers, prawns, appam and stew. We then followed it up with ice-cream from a popular hub. It was just the perfect way to round-up an impromptu two-day stay. All I have to say is there’s not a single person who can go to Mangaluru and not fall in love with it,” Danish sums up.
