The State government on Wednesday informed the Kerala High Court that it had started taking a detailed inventory of the losses suffered by micro, small, and medium enterprises(MSME) during the recent floods.

It was decided at the meeting that the issue regarding loans amounting to below ₹10 lakh to retailers would stand resolved if the Ministry of MSME approved the proposal to make retail trade loans below ₹10 lakh eligible under the credit guarantee fund trust for micro and small enterprises (CGTMSE).It was decided at the meeting that the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) would take up with the Union Ministry of Finance the issues of speedy disposal of loans to MSMEs and flood-affected families. The affidavit was filed in response to a batch of writ petitions highlighting various issues during and in the aftermath of the floods.
