First-of-its-Kind Purification Platform Partners with Fitness-Based Non-Profit Breast Cancer Organization

Just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month, PAQTech—the first-of-its-kind purification platform—is excited to announce its ongoing charitable partnership with Barbells for Boobs—a non-profit organization founded to mobilize and empower people to take action in breast cancer. PAQTech will be donating a portion of proceeds from each of its bags sold to aid Barbells for Boobs in their mission to provide women with accessible breast healthcare while also providing patients with the resources they need to navigate the difficult diagnosis of breast cancer.
With an emphasis on preventative health, PAQTech was founded to provide consumers with its advanced purification technology for sanitization and deodorization using IoT connected device software. Their first product launch, the PaqSule, was quickly embraced by the sports & fitness world for its potential to eliminate germs and keep athletes healthy.

Cecy Morales was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 26 after being denied mammography due to her age. Frustrated by her inability to help her friend and disappointed by the failures of the healthcare system, Cecy’s best friend Zionna Hanson—a longtime fitness lover and CrossFit member— reached out to her CrossFit family for support. From the reality that no one is immune to breast cancer and her passion for health and fitness, Barbells for Boobs was born.
Barbells for Boobs has two core components—Right to Know (RTK) and Resources After Diagnosis (RAD). RTK helps women unsure of how to seek out breast healthcare services by connecting them with local healthcare providers—even for women who are uninsured or poorly insured. Through its RAD program, women who have been formally diagnosed with breast cancer are provided with resources necessary to aid them in improving their quality of life. Emphasizing the importance of fitness, Barbells for Boobs provides patients with scholarships to local CrossFit box gyms—just one of the many components of RAD. Since its inception in 2009, Barbells for Boobs has served 26,455 individuals, provided 51,539 procedures, and detected 361 cases of breast cancer.
