Amazon Fails to Deliver
Prospect of deceleration is painful for investors primed for growth
Amazon.com’s market value has more than doubled over the last two years leaving one nagging question: What happens when the growth finally slows?
Investors got a taste of that scenario on Thursday with the company’s third-quarter results. Growth was strong, with revenue surging 29% year over year to $56.6 billion.
