Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute: Litigant Iqbal Ansari receives threatening letter, cops detain one

A litigant in Ramjanmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit pending before the Supreme Court of India received a letter, threatening him to withdraw the claim. The Uttar Pradesh Police have filed an FIR in the case and detained one person. Ansari, the son of one of the first litigants in the title suit, received the letter through courier. In his complaint, Ansari told the police that the four-page letter threatened that he would be thrown out of India if he does not withdraw his claim in the case.
