Prince Harry was ‘deeply concerned’ after a security scare while the Duchess of Sussex was in a packed market in Fiji yesterday.
Sources say the Royal, 34, wants an explanation over what happened after Kensington Palace officials blamed the large crowds.
Pregnant Meghan, 37, was seen whispering to her aides moments before she was whisked away by her bodyguards from the busy marketplace in Suva, the Fijian capital.
The planned 20-minute tour, where she was due to meet female stall holders involved with the UN Women's project 'Markets for Change' was cut short, with the Duchess spending just six minutes in the market before she was hurriedly moved along.

The decision to cut short the engagement came as a surprise and disappointment to many in the market, with some pointing out that the crowds were being kept well back from the duchess by police and royal security

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were in much better spirits today as they arrived in Tonga
Prince Harry was 30 miles away meeting locals at the Colo-I-Suva Forest Reserve at the time of the scare.
Witnesses described Meghan as ‘flustered and afraid’ as she was led away by her bodyguard.
A source told the Mirror Harry was ‘deeply concerned’ and that Kensington Palace staff had spoken with Meghan’s close protection officer for a debrief.
Ken Wharfe, former bodyguard for Princess Diana, told the paper the situation was ‘chaotic’ and that ‘the very basic elements of personal protection were found to be wanting’.
Some in the crowd had been waiting for four hours to catch a glimpse of the Duchess while others were seen clambering on tables and chairs to get a better viewpoint.

During Meghan's visit to the market many of the gathered people in the crowd were disappointed and surprised at the mother-to-be's exit, as onlookers described the meeting as well behaved and friendly.
They pointed out that the crowds were being kept well back from the Duchess by police and royal security and she was not being mobbed.
A royal aide said: ‘It was hot, humid and uncomfortably busy and there were far larger crowds than expected.
'She met everyone she was meant to meet and left. There would have been a lot of people who would have been keen to meet her but she did met those who had hoped to.
‘On advice she was taken out due to crowd management issue.’
One stall holder who had been positioned to expect a visit from the Duchess, said: 'It is such a shame as we were all very excited to meet her.
'We started preparing for the visit three weeks ago and had been meant to meet her but she left without even saying hello.'

Throughout the day, Meghan wore a £1,150 ($2,110 AUD, $1,495USD) vibrant red silk dress by Figue with a blue foral print and a playful pom pom detail, while her husband Prince Harry chose a tropical print shirt.
Her dress featured a wrap silhouette with a v-neckline, long sleeves and asymmetrical ruffle hem and seashell detail. Meghan, 37, paired the gown with the £80 ($147 AUD, $104USD) Castaner canvas wedge espadrilles she wore on Sydney's Bondi Beach last week.
She completed her look with a tropical flower headpiece fitted in an up-do created by her personal hairdresser, George Northwood, who joined the Royals on tour in Fiji.
The engagement marked day nine of Prince Harry and Meghan's 16 day Commonwealth tour, and was the first full day in the country's capital.
The Duke and Duchess earlier visited the University of South Pacific campus, and Harry unveiled The Queen's Commonwealth Canopy Project and laid a wreath at the Fiji War Memorial.
