Wednesday night's episode of The Bachelorette saw Charlie Newling assembling a child's bike during a 'parenting' challenge.
And after the 31-year-old builder shared a photo of himself bonding with the little girl to Instagram, furious fans told him to spend time with his own son instead.
The comments were seemingly in response to reports earlier this week that the tradesman has a 'secret child' from a previous relationship.

Bombshell: The comments were seemingly in response to reports earlier this week that the tradesman has a 'secret child' from a previous relationship
On Wednesday's episode of The Bachelorette, the suitors were required to assemble a bicycle with a child as Ali Oetjen, 32, observed their 'parenting skills'.
Charlie, who is known for his jealous and fiercely competitive nature on the show, emerged as the winner of the challenge.
Reflecting on the challenge on Instagram later that night, he wrote in the caption: 'Moments like tonight show you what does really matter in life.'

Why so hush-hush? Daily Mail Australia discovered Charlie was a father last week, but he refused to comment and Network Ten's publicity department ignored multiple phone calls. Pictured: Charlie cradling his newborn son in hospital on September 24, 2010
There was no mention of the fact Charlie has a son on Wednesday, despite the challenge being centered around raising children.
He even said during the babysitting task that he hoped he could use the opportunity to show Ali he would be a 'good dad' if they had children together.
