Mock security drills in banks

BHUBANESWAR: The commissionerate police decided to conduct mock security drills at different banks in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to effectively tackle bank robberies. On Tuesday, the mock exercise was conducted in a bank at Cuttack. Police said they would assess security arrangements in banks and advise the bankers to upgrade.
The Crime Branch recently issued an advisory to the commissionerate police and SPs to sensitise banks to increase their security measures. SPs were also asked to create a database of bank robbers and their modus operandi.
