Assam Police Department has invited applications for the position of Sub-Inspector. An official notification was issued on 23rd October, 2018 to increase the number of positions that need to be filled for the position of SI. Earlier, Asaam Police had invited application for 10 SI position on 11th April, 2018. Aspiring candidates who could not apply for the April application process, can now apply for the Assam Police SI Recruitment 2018 on assampolice.gov.in.
Eligibilty Criteraia to apply for Assam Police SI Recruitment 2018:
-Candidates must be between the age of 24 and 28
-Candidates should be graduated from any stream to be eligible apply.

-Candidates from reserved categories can avail for relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules
Important Instructions
Assam Police had released a Corrigendum Notice on 23rd October specifying the break down of the new vacancies and the eligibilty criteria with regard to the age. The last day to apply for the position is November 12th. The date of written exam will be declared soon.
Exam Pattern
The written exam for the position of Sub-Inspector will be conducted in the district headquarter. The written exam will consist of 100 questions which will comprise of questions based on Logical Reasoning and Aptitude, History and Culture of Assam and India, and General Knowledge for 100 marks with negative marks of 0.5 for every wrong answer. The test will be OMR-based exam and will be for 3-hour duration.
