A college student allegedly committed suicide at a hostel in Maulali on Wednesday.
According to Malkajgiri police, the 19-year-old victim was a student of pharmacy and was reportedly unhappy because she could not study medicine.
“She was unable to get a seat in a medical college and hanged herself in the hostel where she was staying,” a sub-inspector of police said.
