Who will finish top scorer in North Wales women's football this season?

A number of candidates have already emerged in these early weeks of the 2018/19 campaign.

This season, the Daily Post will be running a Goalden Girls chart keeping track of the leading female finishers playing for North Wales clubs in both the Welsh Premier and North Wales women's leagues. Goals in all competitions - league and cups - count.

Currently top of the table is Ffion Williams of NWWFL Division One leaders Bethel, who has bagged 15 goals in just six matches.

She is closely followed by Llanfair United's Gemma Jones, who is on 13 for a team level on points with Bethel at the summit.

Leading the way for the Welsh Premier are Mari Gibbard, who has struck eight times for Llandudno - six of them in the Welsh Cup - while Caernarfon Town captain Ffion Owen is on seven.
