Mumbai: Help them to ADAPT


Mumbai: The ‘I Can’ Bazaar of ADAPT (formerly The Spastics Society of India) will showcase the artistic talents of students and trainees with disabilities. A range of beautifully handcrafted products made by children and young adults from all four centres, that include cushion covers, eco-friendly products like jute and paper bags, diyas for the festive season, bead jewellery and mouth-watering, hygienically prepared squashes, pickles and snacks.

From October 26-28, first day in the evening from 5-8 and last two days noon to 8pm, at ADAPT, formerly The Spastics Society of India, K.C. Marg, Near Rang Sharda Hotel. Bandra Reclamation Mumbai – 400 050. The Bazaar will be inaugurated by actor Shreyas Talpade, who played a youth with hearing impairment in Nagesh Kukunoor’s film ‘Iqbal.’ Some outstanding artistes will be honoured at the inaugural programme which will also feature performances by children and young adults with disability.
