HYDERABAD: A day after TDP president and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu urged the proposed grand alliance partner Congress to walk the extra mile to ensure they remain united and come to some understanding on seat sharing, Congress on Tuesday appears to have responded positively with the high command telling Telangana party president N Uttam Kumar Reddy to make sure there is enough give and take to satisfy all four alliance partners.
This was the message conveyed to Uttam in Delhi, said sources. Even as Congress is in the process of finalising its first list, which may be released by first week of November, feelers have been sent to TJS and CPI that their demands will be accepted up to maximum extent.
Congress has proposed a broad plan by which the alliance will target disenchanted youth of Telangana and rally them from campuses like Osmania University, which served as hotbed of the separate state agitation. Both TJS and CPI are expected to take a final call on Wednesday if to forge the alliance or contest on their own. TDP, too, is expected to be broad minded on the issue of seat sharing .
