The Tamil Nadu government has opened registrations for companies to participate in the second Global Investors Meet (GIM) to be held on January 23-24 here.
The government expects the participation of domestic and multinational companies and organisations at the GIM to be held at the Chennai Trade Centre.
“The exhibition will project 12 focus sectors such as automobile and auto components, food processing, agri business, renewable energy and electronics and hardware,” an official statement said.
The last date for registration is November 15.
Exhibition space will be provided free. A committee will select the exhibitors and allot space. Online registration can be done at www.tngim.com.
State government officials have been conducting roadshows and seminars across India and at a few foreign locations.
The first edition of GIM was held on September 9-10, 2015, and the State government claimed that the event attracted investments of ₹242,160 crore.
