In today’s session of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League (PKL 2018) season six, the first match will be played between U Mumba and Telugu Titans, while in the second match, hosts Puneri Paltan lock horns with Tamil Thalaivas at Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. In Pro Kabaddi 2018, Zone A teams have continued their dominance in the inter-zonal challenge, like the previous season. In PKL 5, Zone A teams won 23 inter-zonal games, compared to just 14 by Zone B teams. On Day-1 of PKL 2018, both Zone A teams – Dabang Delhi and Puneri Paltan -- emerged victorious in inter-zonal matches. In the first match of Day-15, the battle will be between the best raiding team U Mumba, whose average raid points stand at 23.8, and the best defensive team Telugu Titans, with 14.3 as average tackle points. For the first time in PKL 2018, Siddharth Desai (U Mumba), with average raid points 13.2, will face the top raid point scorer of all time Rahul Chaudhari (Telugu Titans). Siddharth Desai also going to face the top two defenders in terms of average tackle points, Abozar Mighani (4.5) and Vishal Bhardwaj (4.3).

In today’s second match, Puneri Paltan, who are high on confidence after winning their previous two matches in the last minute, will take on Ajay Thakur’s Tamil Thalaivas. This is the face-off between Zone A table toppers (Puneri Paltan) and Zone B bottom-of-the-table side (Tamil Thalaivas). This will be a battle between top two raiders of PKL 2018 – Ajay Thakur and Nitin Tomar. Tomar has scored 81 raid points from eight matches in PKL 6 at an average of 10.1 raid points per match with a strike rate of 55, while Ajay Thakur in six games scored 69 raid points, averaging 11.5 raid points a game at a very good strike rate of 63.
