Former Uber Technologies Inc. executive Emil Michael has joined hedge-fund firm Coatue Management LLC as a consultant, according to people familiar with the matter.
Mr. Michael, who had served as Uber’s Chief Business Officer, resigned from Uber last year following an investigation into the ride-hailing service’s workplace culture by former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, The Wall Street Journal earlier reported.
