CHENNAI: The Congress alliance in Tamil Nadu will, in a repeat of 2004, win all 39 seats in the 2019 Parliamentary elections, said Sanjay Dutt, party observer for TN.

Addressing mediapersons here on Monday, he said, “I have witnessed a huge support for the Congress during my last 21 days’ tour in the state. And we are ready to welcome any party into our alliance. But, the newcomers should accept the DMK’s leadership for the alliance.”

The opposition parties should understand that unity was important to defeat the BJP at the Centre, Sanjay Dutt said, hoping that the Congress alliance would again win the 39 seats in the state.
